These collaborative Nike shoes feature hand-scrawled black text with a multitude of meaningful messages. “I Am More Than My Body,” “I Am The Message,” “I Am The Source,” “And I Have A Story To Tell” plus “I Am More Than An Athlete” are presented in close succession on the heel. If “I Am More Than An Athlete” seems familiar, that’ s because you’ ve indeed seen it before: in 2018, LeBron was spotted in a custom “More Than An Athlete” Air Force 1 after Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham suggested he “shut up and dribble” when he publicly shared his opinions on President Donald Trump. Below this manifesto, there’ s also a strip of fabric with printed blue “I Am Uninterrupted” text.
